Allocating and Managing Risk in Major Rail Contracts
There are numerous common risks which should be carefully considered at the outset of procuring a major rail project in choosing the form of contract and such key risks need to be managed and allocated through any negotiation process with a contractor. We will look at issues such as design responsibility, payment mechanisms, completing structures, defects liability, performance regimes and maintenance.
