Kenji’s responsibility is looking for the best European products in order to introduce new technologies and solutions to JR East.

He is also charged with gathering information about the policies of European railways and the EU and the exploration of valuable European railway projects in order to build good relationships.

Kenji worked in the Transport & Rolling Stock Department at JR East’s Tokyo headquarters before moving to Brussels Branch. He created the implementation plans of railway facilities and signalling systems for train operation.
