Ramiz has over 28 years of experience in transport engineering, finance and management. He has a Ph.D in Civil Engineering from Michigan State university. He has been working for the World Bank since 1989.

Ramiz is Sr. World Bank Resident Advisor to the Public Investment Fund, Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia for the North South Railway Project and currently to GCC, proving policy, strategy and technical advisory services to senior management of GCC and member states on the GCC Railway Project.

His experience includes working with public and private organisations, national and international development institutions such as the United Nations.
