Liviu coordinates the implementation of company policy on repairs, construction and modernisation of rolling stock fleet.

His main tasks are:

- Repair and overhaul for locomotives and passenger wagons within CFR Călători’s workshops or elsewhere.

- Renewal of the CFR Călători fleet with new types of EMUs and DMUs and wagons or locomotives.

- Reconstruction and modernisation / construction of coaches, railcars, locomotives and electrical frames, in accordance with general company policy.
